Mitsubishi S16R generator for a well know datacenter is fitted Woodward Governor System.

The main objective is to improve the step load ability with the Woodwrd Governor System and most importantly to reduce black smoke emission during start up.

Black smoke during start up has impact on enviromental regulations for certain countries and especially Singapore whereby the generators are located very near to residental housing blocks.

Our engineers have made installation to the governor and fine calibration to the controllers to make sure the requirements of the local authorities are fulfiled.

Barcol-Air Engineering with Woodward products guaranteed the availability of power for mission critical airfield lighting control system in airport service, Singapore.

Securing power for airfield ground lighting is more critical than ever not mentioning stricter regulations to transfer power when the mains are loss or a permanent paralleling.

Components involve in this project include, Easygen 3200 as synchronizing and power mangement, Easygen 1500 as generator control and Dyna 8200 as the speed governor.

Data Center Redundancy

Barcol-Air Engineering has sucessfully commissioned 36 units of generator for a well known datacenter in Singapore.

Easygen 2500 is the generator control with DSLC2 being synchronizer and load sharing.

The ethernet capablity onboard DSLC2 has enabled the critical communication to be between units to be connected in ring topology via fiber optics for redunancy requirement

Generators are paralleled by closing GCBs during engine start sequence

In some cases the in-rush current of a transformer may be more than one generator can supply when closing the live generator to the dead transformer
